Hi,

Since it has air ride suspension, does it seem to be sitting at the correct height and even? Does everything related to the suspension seem to be operating?

Also, a rough ride can also be related to the tires or tire pressure. Have they been inspected?

Does the roughness seem to be from both the front and rear? Are there any noises associated when you experience the issue?

Let me know.

Joe

Dear Jacob,

Thank you very much for the reply.
I have checked there is no fault code.
There is no leakage.
Height seems okay suspension going up and down.
I have changed to new tires Kumho brand.
Yes, there is leak in steering rack.
Regarding the noise I can feel grinding.
But main issue is when go bumps I feel like hard jerk something is loose checked everything nothing is loose
Even local mechanic said lower arm bushing fine it’s 11-year-old car as I said I have change only one front air suspension only do I have to change both together.
Please help what you suspect.

Hi,

The grinding noise has me the most interested. Is the grinding only when hitting a bump or does it happen all the time while driving?

Also, if you feel a jerk when hitting bumps, does it pull you in one direction? Has anyone checked the wheel bearings for wear?

Let me know.

Hi,

You are not bothering me at all. Please feel free to ask as much as you want. LOL

Normally, they should be changed in pairs, but with this system, changing one should be fine. However, I still don't see how the shock would be causing a grinding noise. Also, was the vehicle aligned after the work was done?

Let me know.

Hi,

Let me know what you find. I'm interested in knowing. Also, when front struts are replaced, an alignment should be performed.

Take care,

Joe

Sure.
But at higher speed I don’t feel car smooth.
Low speed has rough ride like tire has very over inflated feeling very hard.
Let me get it checked alignment.
I am keeping PSI 35 each tire.

Hi,

The pressure you indicated is good. Something isn't making sense. By any chance, did they leave the suspension in the tow mode which would cause it to have a stiffer ride?

Let me know.

Hi,

As far as a scan tool is concerned, it really matters what you want it to do. Are you looking for something that provides powertrain codes and the ability to clear them?

I attached one that is a good price for what it can do. Take a look below.

Let me know.

Joe
