I cant get my rack and pinion out

Im trying to remove my eac and pinion but there is not enough clearence on the passenger side to get the mounting hardware out

Everything on GM front-wheel-drive cars is serviced by lowering the cross member. You have to be extremely careful to mark its location first so you can put it back exactly where it was. If it is shifted to one side just a little, that will change the suspension geometry and cause major handling issues that an alignment won't solve.
