2004 Hyundai Tiburon Shifting

When I shift it feels like it catches. In 3rd gear it is the most prodominate. I wanted to know if I need to change out my trasaxel fluid. If that would even help. I oiled all the ball joints on the shifter itself. Or is just that my clutch is going?

You could check the fluid to make sure it isn't dirty or contaminated. Chancing it may help a little. Does it ever grind when you shift? Also, with the engine off, does it shift smoothly through the gears?

My son has the same problem with his 2004 Tiburon GT. When it warms up he has trouble getting it into 3rd gear.
