Only when the car has been driven for a period of time it begins to grind to a stop at lights and bang/thump in and out of first gear. There is a slight bearing type whine as well all the time. Then when turning at slow speed ( either direction) the car lurches and jerks -it seems more noticable in reverse gears when trying to park. I have had the gearbox checked and serviced they said it was fine and at the last service they lubricated a dry driveshaft joint they felt was the issue but the car still does this when warm - any ideas?

Hi -
Not sure if it is not imported into USA - It is a 4x4 based on the Mitsubishi Pajero 1990s
I was hoping the fault problem would

be semi common to other vehicles.

I will never see all of them. But I can gather data sometimes that can be applicable.

I think I don't understand the Mitsubishi Pajero 1990s with a 2005 Hyundai Terracan.

Then when turning at slow speed ( either direction) the car lurches and jerks -it seems more noticable in reverse gears when trying to park may be normal if it is in 4wd. You never answered that.

Are fluids full?

Probably going to need to get it up in the air and get a look at it to determine the source area.
