Tried changing the rear 3rd brake light, don"t see any thing from the trunk just one screw holding the power cable to the light socket. Disconnected the power to the light and there was no bulb. So when it the rear window panel and remove almost everything but the rear deck wouldn't come out.

Can you tell me how to change this bulb?

Unplug the connector in the trunk.
Remove the 2 gold-colored screws from inside the trunk. They can be seen from the trunk. One of them is thru the larger square opening where the wire connects to the high-mount brake light. The second is on the right side thru a small (screwdriver width) hole covered by a piece of foam tape.
After removing the 2 screws, go inside the cabin and the brake light housing pops right up.
Disconnect the bulb from the housing while inside the cabin.
Back in the trunk, remove the wire and bulb. The wire from the connector to the bulb socket should be about 5 inches long.

Reverse steps to install.

Hope this helped. Thanks for using 2carpros. Com!
