I brought my care to two mechanics to check why the check engine light went on and they said the problem was the vehicle speed sensor. Can you tell me where this is located and about how much it would cost for the part? Is it any way connected to the transmission? Thank you for your help. I believe the car is front wheel drive but I'm not sure. Thanks again.

On 2.4 it's on the bottom of the transaxle, on 2.5 it's on top.
There is a Tech bulliten issued by Hyundai for P0715 and P0720
715, replace input speed sensor
720 replace output speed sensor.
