2000 Hyundai Sonata Beep. Beep. Beep

My car started beeping out of no where. It sound's like a security alarm, but it goes off when I turn the car on. It also comes on when I have the A/C on for some time.

Hi spapt18,

When key is in ignition and not in IG2 position, a beeping would be heard if the door is open. It it the same sound?

No, it sounds more of the security alarm. It has been makeing the noise all day and it only goes of when I turn the car on.

The security system would continue to activate even if the ignition key is turned on.

Check and see if any switches or lights had been left on.
