Transmission problem
1998 Hyundai Sonata 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I had two new axles put on the front of car on 11/28/09. On 12/23/09 the axle on the driver side popped. Is there anyway that something in my transmission is messed up that would let my axle loose? Just wanted to let you know I rode on other axles for about four months without having any problems other than cliicking sound. Please help me because I think the people who repaired my car are trying to get over on me. Thanks

Tannis

Likely had rebuilt axles installed thats the industry standard. When you say popped mean CV joint came apart? There would be nothing a trans could do to harm an axle short of locking up.

No axle didn't pop at CV joint. It popped on the end that goes into the transmission. Even if I got the axles from NAPA would they still be rebuilt?
