If you want to do drop in (plug and play) engine replacement, you can only use 1995 - 1996 engine Sirius 1997cc. No other engine will drop in. Not even the new Hyundai-built 2.0L meant for Tiburon/Elantra models.

While 4G63 Mitsu motor "looks" similar and will fit the engine bay, it NOT plug and play. I am not even sure if the transmission will bolt onto the engine. And you will have to retrofit the location for the engine mounts.
