I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. The second day of having it, it started making a squealing noise. Put belt dressing on it and it quit, but a while later it started making a clicking noise. Sounds like it's on the passenger side by the belts. Once the belt dressing was put on it again, all noises stopped. Would like to know what the problem could be? Belts and what kind, need to be changed, or something else? Please help. The clicking noise has stopped for now. This noise started all at once.

Thanks for any answers you can give me.

That may be your belt tensioner doing that, its probably on its way out. Have it checked. And replaced if needed. I had and experience with that a couple of years ago, I was driving down a hill and needed to make a left turn, and before I reached the turn I heard a boom and my powersteering got stiff all simultaneously, almost got into an accident. Car starts to overheat because the belt popped off along with the tensioner and the belt controls the water pump, etc, etc, etc. Big mess is what I'm trying to say is before that I was hearing that squeek, usually when I started the car in the morning, I thought it was the belt so I put dressing on it too, and it appeared to go away, then it came back so on and so on. So yes definitely have that belt tensioner checked and get back to me with your findings
