While driving car is losing power and feels like the engine isn't getting enough gas and when stepping on the gas pedal the car will not go over 20mph after a little bit the car resumes to normal. Just had the whole engine flushed a few weeks ago. Also while starting the car there is a squealing sound that exists when at a stop and when car is in park it doesn't make any sounds while foot is on gas pedal.

Hello,

There are few reasons of why the engine will have low power.

Could be a clogged air filter that restricts airflow. Worn mass airflow sensor or even a weak fuel pump.
Clogged catalytic converter can also lead to a sluggish acceleration.

Here is a helpful guide that covers the typical lower power reasons:

Are you getting any warning lights on the dash? Typically, if there are certain issues the on-board diagnostics will trigger the check engine light. If it is illuminated, retrieving the code(s) can help with the diagnostics.

Many times, engine tune up can help restore the performance. Like changing the air filter, fuel filter, plugs, clean out throttle body etc.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
