Where is the water pump located on the engine and how do you replace it?

is this for the 2.7L or 3.5L engine?

The Santa Fe in question is a 2.7 L V6.

Drain the cooling system. Remove or disconnect the following: Negative battery cable Drive belt and water pump pulley Timing belt covers Timing belt tensioner Idler pulley Water pump bolts Water pump and gasket Clean the gasket mating surfaces.

Install or connect the following: Water pump and gasket Bolts and alternator bracket. Tighten the bolts to 11-16 ft. lbs. (15-22 Nm). Idler pulley Timing belt tensioner Timing belt covers Water pump pulley and drive belt Negative battery cable Fill the cooling system. Start the engine and check for leaks.
