My accent is a r reg it starts first time most of the time and drives nicely just recently its started to cut out sudenly while being driven and wont restart off the key I have to push it to get going again ive got three young children and im worried about taking them out in the car as it has become unpredictable any help would be very well appriciated :D

Sounds like a starting issue that could be as simple as a bad connection on the cabling to a weak starter or battery. I would start with removing the battery cables and cleaning connections. Then follow the cable examining it and checking the other connections.

My Accent had the very same issue. I traced the problem to a bad connection on the crank positioner sensor wire harness. I cleaned the connections & applied some electrical grease. Its been fine since.
