1999 Hyundai Elantra Starting Problems

When I go to start my car the radio and clock will come on, but when I actually start the car it clicks and dies and then the radio goes off as well as the clock, so no electrical power. If I take out the key and wait awhile then the same thing happens. I just replaced my battery, so what could it be?
