I have a Hyundai Excel have just had fan belts replaced, timing belt kit, new fuel filter and water pump done 4 weeks ago by certified mechanics. The belts are squealing and the car is still running rough and a flat spot in 2nd gear can anyone help me.I think they may have ripped me off.

Hi there,

I would go and talk to them about your concerns, normally belts will stretch a little and require a minor re tension after a week or so, as for the tune issue it may be a very simple fix, best let them check it over first.
