I already brought my car for wheel alignment and tire balancing. Still, I have wheel vibrations on speeds 55-65mph on the interstate. I don't know what's next to do. I am afraid to go to a garage, I don't want to be ripped off. At least I can have an overview as to what the problem is. Thanks.

Hi josemakalolot,

Vibrations at the speed mentioned could be due to wheels out of balance or the CV inner joints are bad.

I already balanced my wheels 2x in a tire store.

How much do you think would it cost me to get CV inner joints repaired (parts and labor).

I will be driving Florida to Texas on Christmas and need to have my car fixed.

Thanks KHLow2008.

Check the inner CV joints for excessive side travel, broken boots and lack of lubrications. Servicing them would suffice if there are no abnormal wear in the housing.

Labor time for replacement of one side is 1.2 hours. Inner boot is listed at $32.08.

Prices ranges region to region. It is best to get a local quote.
