i got a four wire replacment sensor and I had a 5 wire sensor in my car. Could I wire up the four wire sensor and if so how do I do it.

If you try to do some weird wiring thing, the ECM is going to get confusing signals.

Go head and spend a little bit more on a sensory from the dealer. That way you know it's right.
