2000 Hyundai Elantra

i have a 2000 hyundai elantra that doesnt want to pass 40 mph and takes a while to pick up speed.

Have you checked the catylatic converter to see if it is plugged? Also, has the check engine light come on?

Yes it has a new catalytic converter and yes the check engine light is on. I took it to auto zone an put it on a diagnostic tester and the only thing that came up on it was a couple of sensors. I forgot what codes there where.

If the codes identified sensors, then chances are that is the problem. Have you tried replacing them?
