I have changed to rear breaks on my 98 hyundai elantra, now that I have my breaks all done the emergency break will not hold the car. Is their a way to tightn the emergency up? The drums go on the car with a snug fit.

Hi there you should back off the park brake until cable is fully loose and then do the shoe adjustment first, then adjust the park brake , to access it you may have to remove the center console. See pic for view of adjuster.
