The exhaust manifold on my 1996 Hyundai Elantra has a crack in it. Other than the possible problem of exhaust fumes, can it be driven until I have enough money to repair or replace it?

Hi there,

Depending on how bad it is, you may getan O2 sensor reading, but I would get it sorted out asap as its a health issue with fumes into the cabin a posibality.

Hi there,

Not sure what you will be paying for a second hand manifold, as I am in Aust and my prices won't be much help. It will take around 1 to 11/2 hrs to do, the price quoted could be new, as a second hand will be very much cheaper.
