2002 Hyundai Accent Car Alarm?

I purchased the car not knowing it has an alarm. Removed the battery and reinstalled a new one. Now the parking, dome, parking lights and dash lights blink on and off for about 1 minute and stops and cannot start the car. When I turn on the ignition the lights start blinking again. There is a small neon red light that blinks on and off and no visable valet switch or button. The auto came with no remote. If I push down on the brake the horn beeps. The horn also beeps if I touch any wires under the dash and when I shut the door. The car has been running great and very reliable until now. Live out in the AZ boonies so really don, t want to have it towed many miles to town. Please Help. Thank you for taking the time to view my problem. Dean W.
