This is my daughter's car (she no longer lives at home). She was told at the local AutoZone that it needs a new Throttle position sensor. Is this a repair that can be done by someone with mechanical abilities or is it something best left to a certified mechanic?

Hi there,

Get your mechanic to fit it. It is only a plug & some screws, but it must be set in the correct position for calibration. This would be best done by your mechanic, it will not take long.
