2003 Hummer H2 front drive axle/bearing hub

Noise and vibration in the left front wheel. Can't tell if it is the drive axle or bearing hub. Most prevelant when I am excellerating and at high speed. Going down hill or coasting the noise seems to deminish. I want to know so I can purchase the right part.

Does the noise change when veering to the left or right?

IS there any play in that wheel?

Using push/pull movement check wheel off the ground at the 9 and 3 position and also at the 12 and 6 position.

By description, I am leaning toward axle aa the axle is under load when accelerating but the wheel should be checked to make sure all else is tight.
