Gentlemen. I have the van listed above e150 van w/460 police interceptor, about 550hp. I would like to know about how wide of tires and rims I can go. Right now, I have 255x60x15" and rear 275x60x15" tires. I would like to go even wider than I have right now. Can you suggest what I can go without any interference?

Thank you,
mark

Hi Mark, how much room is there before there is any interference between the tires and body?

Here is what I suggest: What to do is first determine how much space there is. Then, go to this site:

https://tiresize.com/calculator/

Once there, type in the tires you presently have on the vehicle. It will provide the dimensions of the tire you have. Knowing the additional clearance, just work your way up in size to see how much wider the tire gets.

If you look below, I provided an example. I went up one size.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

See pic below. Note: A different size diameter tire will change the speedometer reading.

Mark,

You are very welcome. I'm glad to know it helped. This sounds like an interesting vehicle with a lot of engine. LOL

Regardless, take care of yourself, and feel free to come back anytime in the future. You are always welcome here.

Joe
