I want to check & replace the pvc valve on a 2001 buick lasabre. I think the pvc valve is under the MAP sensor but the electrical connection & the MAP sensor do not move easily. Do I need to force them? I do not want to break them. What is the best way to remove & replace the pvc valve?
Thank you,

There should either be a clip that you need to undo or there could be a retainer pin that holds the plug in place. Check for those and let me know what you find.

After opening the clips the sensor or the electrical connection do not come out. Is the pvc valve under the MAP sensor?

I don't recall it being under there. It should be in the corner of the engine.
