My truck will squeal after warm up. It’s a rotational squeal and is only after warm up and not a belt. I have no uneven wear or anything abnormal. Some shaking while braking and hitting bumps but I have a busted strut up front. It doesn’t pull and the tire doesn’t wobble so I know it’s not a wheel bearing. I pulled a tree in 4 hi and the day after is when it started squealing after warmup. And it’s only when I’m driving usually past 30. Also the squealing usually happens the most when I left off the gas or it downshifts.
The squealing is mid of the truck to up front. It’s hard to tell between exhaust and road noise

Thanks for the video but can you listen to it to see if you hear the noise? Does this truck have aftermarket rims and tires? Even though the bearing hubs don't have play they can still be bad fyI. Also, the serpentine belt can make a squeal noise but you say it is not the belt. If I can hear the noise it will help, and try to tell where it is being generated from. If it is the belt you should be able to rev the engine in park and it will make the noise. Let my know if the noise only happens when the truck is moving?

-Ken, it only happens after it warms up. I can rev it as much as I want in park and the belts don’t do as much as chirp. I know my tensioner pulley clicks every few minutes one time. Like it shifts. Then it’s fine for a few minutes and then shifts. But if it was a bad tensioner wouldn’t it squeal upon start up and during revving while not moving? But as far as aftermarket, I have no aftermarket wheels or tires. All are OEM and currently stock

Nice work, I don't think it is the belt, it sounds more like a front bearing hub is bad, does this make sense? It is a common failure which makes strange squeaking noises at odd times. This video shows the job being done on an older truck but the procedure is very similar on your vehicle.

-Ken- Is there anyway I can jack the truck up and do something to diag it a little further? I am only asking because I had some clunk when I wiggled the cv axle so I bought one of those and just threw it in yesterday and was pretty disappointed when the squealing still happened. Long story short monetary wise was the issue so I just wanted to be sure and double check before I jumped the gun on a part. Thank you

If there is no play there is no real way of testing the bearing because it must have weight on it to make the noise. If the noise is coming from the right side front I would replace the bearing hub.

Ken-I replaced the front driver side hub assembly which included the wheel bearing inside of that. It still squeals the same. Any advice? Nothing has changed as far as pitch or vibration. Nothing new. Same squeal. It drives me insane haha

Could it be my front driveshaft? It has play but any videos I’ve seen it’s supposed to rotate a little bit I guess

If I could hear the noise it would be better. I am wondering if we put the truck on a rack, and then run it up to 30 MPH in drive if we can hear the noise and where it is coming from. You might need to have a garage do that for you.
