The mode door actuator on my 2014 pathfinder was determined to be defective. How do I access this item to replace it?

Thank you Mechtrix...I believe it is the center one based on symptoms. The front dash does not always blow out of the center vents. I can reach in and manually move it to get some air. The other symptom is that sometimes it blows warm air when it should be cold. New compressor and radiator fan. Symptoms the same before and after. Two auto ac shops said it is the mode door actuator but neither shop does dash work!

Yep it does sound like the mode actuator is bad. But I would try doing an HVAC system reboot it might fix it, here is a guide to show you how.
