The driver side door latch is kaput and the door won't close. I have a new OEM door latch ($200.00 from Rock Auto and it's mostly plastic)

In order to remove the latch you have to remove the driver side door panel and to get that off, you have to get the window crank off the post it attaches to. I can't budge that crank and I can't find the goddamned clip that holds the window crank in place.

What can I do?

Take a look at this attachment. It shows where the clip is for this handle. You do not need the special tool they mention. You just need a 90 degree pick that can reach in there and grab it.

If you still can't get this, can you get a picture of your handle and we will be able to give you more specifics. Thanks
