My car overheats once in a while and a couple weeks ago when I was driving water came spewing out from under my hood. My car got hot, and so I shut it off. I thought that a hose had came off. The next day when I opened the hood everything was okay, so I put some water in it and have been driving ever since.

Hello,

Was the coolant level low when you first checked?
So after you added water, they vehicle did not overheat?
Have you checked the coolant level since you added water?
