How many and where are the motor mounts located?

When I shift from first gear into second gear it shifts hard like thud.

Hi,

According to my manual, there is one motor mount located at the front of the engine. See pic 1. The rear of the engine is supported via the transmission mounts. See pic 2.

It has been a while since I've been under the hood of one of these, but although it isn't shown in my manual, I swear I remember there being what we called a "dog bone" torque strut between the engine and radiator support.

If you could take a few pics under the hood, I should be able to locate it if there is one.

See pic below. Note, if you have to replace any of the mounts, you will need to slightly lift and support the engine.
