My vehicle has been stuck in 1st gear basically and the code reader at 1st said P0722. It revs at like 3,000 while driving 20-30MPH (max it lets me go). Now there are a few more coded. But I want to replace the transmission output speed sensor first. Can someone please give me the step by step how to remove it? Thank you so much. ~Susanne, ]

Hello, what other codes are you getting with the output speed sensor? I will post the diagrams and wiring colors for the sensor. It's a single bolt holding the sensor into the transmission housing. It's under the hood, there is a diagram of the transmission, but you will have to verify the sensor by the wire colors, it's a 3-wire sensor, so it shouldn't be difficult to find.
The 4th and 5th diagrams are the wiring diagrams for the Output speed sensor, I added the manufacturer (OEM) and the aftermarket diagrams because the connector wire colors, they had listed in service information were incorrect. They had the input and output speed sensor wire coloring backwards. So, you're looking for a 3-wire plug with a Dark Green wire with a White stripe, a Tan wire with a dark green stripe, and a yellow wire with an orange stripe. It shouldn't be too difficult to find.
I added one more to help, the last diagram, the green arrow is facing towards the engine, so when facing the vehicle, the green arrow points to your left.
