How do I turn on the front fog lights

There is no symbol on the left hand stalk as pictured in the manual. See picture below. Looked all round both left and right stalks and dashboard and can't see anything with the front fog light symbol on.

Yes, it is not there. Did this car have some repairs done such as a new steering column. Also, did the car come with fog light originally? I am wondering if the car was in a front end accident and they installs the fog light version of the car onto yours?

I've only had the car a year, it's not been in an accident as far as I'm aware. There is a front fog light indicator light on the dashboard so assume it must have come with fog lights originally? I was wondering if it had possibly had a new steering column without the correct stalk. Would it be easy to replace with the right one?

Hi,

I know on some vehicles, the same switch is used by the manufacturer regardless if the option was added. See picture below. Does your vehicle have the lights I circled? I had a Mitsubishi in the other day and the owner wondered why her fog lights wouldn't turn on. It had the switch, but no lights from the factory. LOL

Aha! No my car doesn't have these lights. I thought the fog lights were incorporated into the main lights for some reason. So my car doesn't have front fog lights even though there is a fog light indicator on the dashboard. Would I be able to get fog lights put in? There is a space for them but just plastic circles there at the moment. I suppose I would need a new stalk too. Thanks for solving the mystery. :))

Hi,

Honestly, anything is possible. However, I have no schematics for this vehicle to determine what would need done. I'm sorry about that. I'm not sure where you are located, but often times you can purchase fog lights and they come with a toggle switch to use.
