I have purchased a replacement exterior light switch to replace the one that I accidentally broke the knob off, but I can figure out how to get the panel off to get to the old switch to get it out and put the new switch in. Can you help? I've included photos to show you the switch and its location. Thanks.

Hello,

The trim around the switch needs to be removed in order to access the switch.

There is a bolt under the trim that you will have to remove to get the bottom cover removed. This will allow access to the trim to the switch.

Look at the picture below I circled the screw for the bottom trim.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. Can you tell me what size socket I need for that screw? I can't seem to find anything here that fits it. Thanks.

Hi. Sorry I haven't updated you. I was sick for a week. Thank you for your help. The socket worked great, and I replaced the switch easily. Was a lot easier than I thought it would be, so thank you for your help.
