How do I get my car out of anti-theft?

2009 CHEVROLET MALIBU
130,000 MILES • 2.6L • 4 CYL • 2WD • AUTOMATIC

I have the car listed above and it’s stuck in anti-theft lock. The car will crank but not start. I tried to reset it by doing the 10 minute process but it didn’t work. Is there away to bypass the anti-theft with cutting a wire?

As the anti theft system is more than just one component, we first need to know if there are any codes stored in the system first. Do you have access to an advanced scan tool or someone with one? It will need to be more than a generic code reader.

Don't cut any wires, can you tell me if the security light is flashing while you try and crank it over? If not the security system is not engaged. Please go over this video to help us fix the problem, let us know what you find so we can continue.
