I have no money and switch messed up me not knowing what I was doing cut wires from switch even the three wires to Pass-lock system well I rewired those three back together and touched wires together to crank it. Well it cranked but theft light stayed on and for about four minutes and shut off. When I tried to touch wires together again it would not start, but turned over like it was going to. Acts like it is getting no fuel. So I hot-wired fuel pump straight to battery. It comes on but when I touch wires together it turns over to crank but does not. I was told to bypass the system with yellow and black wires and reset system. Please help! Easy steps please and diagrams to right wire colors for ignition and everything else. I was thinking about putting a push button in it since I do not have money for switch. Please help

Thanks for visiting 2CarPros.

To bypass the pass-lock you are going to need a resistor between 1500 and 3300 ohm. Any resistance in that range will work.

You will need to strip the black wire of its insulation in order to wrap one of the resistor leads around it. The other resistor lead will go to the harness side of the cut yellow wire. I'll post pictures below.

Once you do this try to start the car, it should crank and shut off. When it does this turn the key off for ten seconds then back on for fifteen minutes. The security lamp will go out and you will be able to start the vehicle.
