2003 Chevy Malibu Anti Theft Problems

Whats going on with all these anti theft problems people are having with the chevy malibu. No Factory Recall? I have a 2003 malibu and I tried Everything. Left the key in on position for over 10 minutes, did that step 3 times in a row, Cleaned the key hole and key. The anti theft light just stays on does not blink and the car will not start. The anti theft will not reset? I want to cut the yellow wire but I read do not cut it until the car is running. What else can I do? I had to tow the car home today. Will chevy do anything about this because my warrenty is up

You need a pass lock sensor. Try this. Turn the key off for 30 seconds. Crank it real quick and leave the key on. See if the security light starts to blink, if it does leave the key on until it shuts off. This may take about 10-30 min. Trurn the key off again for 10 sec and see if it starts. If it does, get it to your local dealer to have it inspected
