Hose or cable is disconnected and I do not know where it goes?

I have a hose or cable that starts from the passenger side. The thing seemed to have somehow disconnected from where it was supposed to go to. I'm not sure where it need to be put. Any idea of where this would be plugged into?

It will help us determine what might be the function of it.

Does it leak any fluid or does it have any vacuum ?
Does the engine run as it should?

Engine runs fine. It's not leaking anything either and doesn't have a vacuum. Here are some pictures:

That looks like the hose for the washer fluid spray. It connects the washer fluid reservoir to the nozzle.
There should be a hose coming out of the washer fluid reservoir (look at the picture below for reference). That hose comes out of the bottom of that reservoir and runs along the side of the engine bay.
