Horrible noise while driving, non when idle

Vehicle listed above Citreon DS3 PureTech, just drove back from work (about 5 minute travel) car makes slipping type squeal/chirpy sound when driving and even when slight rev on engine, does not happen on idle. Rather loud and car seems to have restricted power.

Welcome to 2CarPros.

First, this vehicle isn't offered in the US, so my technical information is limited. However, it sounds like the accessory drive belt is slipping. Do me a favor, open the hood with the engine off and see if the belt seems loose.

If the belt is tight, have a helper start the engine and rev it to create the sound. While this is happening, take notice if any of the pulleys are not turning properly. If you were using the AC, turn it off to see if the sound is gone.
