Hello there! I recently got into an accident where I rear-ended someone. Unfortunately, my grille got a bit messed up, which caused the hood of the car to get pushed up and back. I'm still able to drive the car, but I'm in desperate need of an oil change. I tried opening the hood, but it won't come open and I think it's because the latch got pushed back. What can I do to solve this issue? How can I get my hood open?

You must take the car to the body shop where they can use a puller to straighten the core support so you can get the hood open, can you upload an image of the damage so I can confirm? Or you can try having someone hold the hood latch open while you try using a large pry bar to leverage the hood open.
