Recently I was driving my car at sixty mph and my hood flew open. It damaged my windshield and the hood brackets broke. Also, my hood bent a little from one side. I am wondering If I have to get a new hood or can that problem just be fixed?

You need to talk with someone who can actually see the damage. For sure the secondary safety latch needs to be repaired. That would have prevented this.

As for repairing the hood, how that is done depends on how picky you are. If good enough will do, bend it back to where it fits the best. If money is no object, the people at a body shop will usually want to replace it. New or repaired, they are going to have to paint it, but when it comes to labor, it costs more to repair a panel than it costs to replace it. You might want to look for a used one in a salvage yard.
