Shaking and vibrations

I own a 1992 honda prelude, with an automatic transmission and 181XXX miles on it. When I put the car into any of the gears, the car jerks (hard) and there is a bad vibration going through the whole car when the car is idle, however when driving, there is little to no vibration. I got my friend to hold the brake and put the car in drive only to go outside to see my exhaust is vibrating really badly. I got the car fully tuned up and I'm waiting for honda to get a replacement engine mount for me for one of my broken mounts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Motor and transmission mounts.
Replace the one you are waiting for and check the rest of them.

Get the mount repaired and then you should notice less vibration and the jerk should be lessened when the vehicle is engaged in to gear.

Also, sometimes when I hit the gas, the car doesnt go right away. It kinda feels like the tranny is slipping, but I dont know. Its very feint and not very noticable. Usually it happens when going from a completete stop, or when I let off the gas, then hit it again.

Have you had the mount replaced yet?

Is the tranny fluid full and is the fluid clean in appearance?

Changed the mount (it was COMPLETELY broken), however the car still vibrates (seems a bit rougher than before) when I hold the brake down, and shifts a *little* bit better than before, and is a bit less jerkey. Any other suggestions?

"Lately my idle has been jumping up and down whenever I let go off gas to slow down. When the idle goes down I can feel the car trying to slow down, but as soon as it does or a step on the brake the idle jumps up and car is trying to speed up. Also, when I press on the brakes and car is almost at full stop, idle jerks a little, goes down to 1000 rpms, and then after couple seconds down to like 750-800. When at a full stop, I let off the brake on a hill, it speeds up and changes gears, but only goes in first."

this person has the exact same problem as me, and wrote it out much better than I could have.
