I got a fuel problem

Hey guys

well shes my first car a 1990 Honda Prelude(2.O) S. Well to start out she runs great, nuttun wrong until today. She was crusin about 3O mph and all the sudden she just died. Took her to our mechanic and we got it down to just the fuel. He said I had a short in my fuel pump circut and we needed to find it. Well if u guys have any thoughts or help please just write back. Thx
