88 Honda Prelude 180000mi

The car is not charging, the alternator is getting power to it but none coming out. But when I had the alternator tested on a load tester it said it was putting out 17 volts, when I put it back on still nothing. Any help or advice would be greatly appricated. Thanks

I would check the wiring and connections. You are getting no charge at the battery and yet the alternator seems to be doing its job. Wiring.
