Hello, I have a 2000 prelude(not SH) and I had to have the head resurfaced and rebuilt very recently. I got the car back after 1300 worth of work, drove home and now it will start right up but as soon as I put it in gear and hit the gas it dies. In neutral it will rev up if you barely push the gas and let it gradually gain RPM's. If I just gun it though it will die. Had alot of people look at it and we cannot figure it out. PLEASE HELP.

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs
Bad plug wires
Weak ignition coil
Wet plug wires
