My Prelude has been shooing the check engine for the past moth. I scanned it and the code that comes out s P0401. That is the EGR. I have replaced the EGR 3 times now and it still comes up. Can someone help me and tell me whats wrong with my car. Thank you and I will really appreciate it a lot.

Hi vetcprelude,

P0401 = EGR insufficient flow.

Replacing the EGR valve would not help if the ports are clogged. You would need to clear the clogging of the exhaust passage under the EGR valve. Carb cleaner can help to loosen the carbon and compressed air would do the rest. Some digging might be required.
