I have a Honda prelude that has an automatic transmission but It is in bad working conditions. I want to put a manual one. Someone wants to sale me one that was pulled from a h23 motor. They told me it fit my car but I would need to change the motor mount. Can some one help me an tell me if this transmission will fit my prelude

Yes a transmission from a h23 will work on your prelude. You just have to change the engine mount. I have a 1998 honda prelude (BASE) When I bought the car It did have a automatic transmission but it was bad. I LOVE Prelude's And specially a 5 speed. I thought of doing the same thing you want to do but I had to do a lot of work. Because It did not have the hole where the clutch or the cylinder. If I wanted to do this I had to drill holes and do a lot of work. I just put on a automatic. You can do It but it will take time and work. Good luck
