1995 Honda Prelude Rough Idle.

I have a 1995 Hounda prelude. With a H22a vtac just got it.

It runs at 2000 RPM's I found that the throttle Body sersor was unpluged. I pluged it in and the cars Idles between 1000 RPM's & 2000 RPM's. Unpluge it and the car runs great. When I checked the codes on the car, I got a 7 then 9 then 3. Do you know what the codes are and is the throttle body sersor out are can it be someting else? The Throttle body sersor is in the throttle body housing and looks like you have to change the whole Throttle body housing.

3 is MAP sensor, 7 is TPS (throttle position sensor) Im pretty sure these 2 plugs can be crossed, see if they can and try it. I didnt see a code 9 for your car. Is that a Prelude si, VTECH?

Yes it's a 1995 h22a vtech, I'll look to see if that is it.
