1993 Honda Prelude transmission swap on factory motor

I have a 93 honda prelude si 2.3. I was told a tranny from a 94 honda accord 2.2 will fit. Is this true. Please tell me good news because I cant find a prelude tanny no where. Thanks

Hi awall456,

Good news, they are compatible, but you must check the meter gears, it might be different if yours has power steering hoses going into it whereas the other don't have it.

If the meter gear ratio is the same, just switch it over.
