I replced the bearings in my distributor re-installed the distributor and the timing is off. I tried to move it back and forward no luck. Its a f22b engine do you have a diagram for the distributor? If so please e-mail it to me h22turboprelude@yahoo. Com

So is the car running?

To adjust ignition timing you must pull back the passenger side kick panel and expose the service connector. You need to jump this service connector with a cotter pin, looped wire, paper clip, etc. This basically stops the ECM from adjusting timing once you start messing around with it. To know that you have jumped the connector successfully the CEL will stay illuminated or it may flash at you (if you have any stored codes)

Then you MUST use a timing light to adjust timing. I believe timing on those engines is 16 BTDC.

If the car is not running, then you have a totally different story. You may have the firing order wrong, so double check that first, check if you do infact have STRONG spark coming out of the coil and do the plug.

Let me know what you find.

FYI, next time mark the distributor relation to the head before removal, this makes for a smooth install!
