I have upgraded/swapped my engine with a 92-96 prelude h22a1 VTEC engine, the new compressor that came with the new engine doesn't have a pickup sensor, which is controlled by a compressor control unit, and because of this it will not allow the new a/c compressor to engage/turn on. I would to get a hand written diagram instructions on how to bypass this pickup sensor. I have included both cars diagrams.

Hi osvaldo516,

The diagram is too small to be legible so I am not able to understand it.

The easiest way it to remove the pickup unit from the initial compressor and plug them into the wireharness on the vehicle. Secure it to a plcae on the vehicle and it is considered as bypassed.

I have a 91 prelude and had the problem of the pickup sensor not working. The way I got around this was to ground the white wire going to the compressor. The easiest way to do this is look for the wire loom in front of the rad in front of the car. There will be 6 wires, 4 to the comp and 2 to the fan. Run a jumper from the white to the black and the comp should engage.
